# Community Events

Events are a great tool for bringing families to experience senior living communities in person. They provide prospects with an opportunity to experience the community firsthand, build trust with staff, and connect with other residents and families.

However, the challenge has always been **getting prospects to sign up and show up**:

* Event information is often buried, inconsistently displayed, or disconnected from the digital journey.
* Sales teams may spend significant time trying to promote events manually, with limited reach.
* Missed opportunities for engagement mean fewer tours and ultimately fewer move-ins.

Improving event attendance is one of the best tools to drive occupancy at senior living communities.

### What It Does

The **Events Management** feature makes it easy to promote, manage, and track community events:

* **Showcases events directly on your website** so prospects can quickly see what’s happening and when.
* **Streamlined sign-up process** increases conversion rates by reducing friction for prospects.
* **Automated reminders & confirmations** help ensure people who register actually attend.
* **Integrates with your CRM**, so your sales team sees event registrations as part of the lead record.

The result is **more prospects attending events, and ultimately more move-ins**.

## Tips

* Use action‑oriented titles and a compelling cover image to boost RSVPs.
* Schedule reminders at 48h and 3h before the event; add a same‑day SMS for best attendance.
* Use Template Tags (eg. Community Name) to speed up event management, so you can share events across multiple communities (eg. multiple Halloween events for example)

## Troubleshooting

* Event not visible on site: republish and clear cache; confirm the website module is enabled on the target page.
* No RSVPs received: submit a test, verify confirmations are delivered, and check that the RSVP form is not blocked by third‑party scripts.

# Agent Instructions

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.talkfurther.com/products/web-data/community-events.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
